My mission . . .

In the true spirit of reduce, reuse, recycle, my goal is to take resources that already exist, and find a way to make them new again.

The time and effort involved is counterproductive (financially), but the process feels right.

Used and old things have a story to tell; they've been through some sh*t; they were made at a time when planned obsolescence wasn't the norm; trees grew for tens if not hundreds of years to be turned into products; and some of the things I find have incredible history. They don't belong in a landfill.

I'm no expert, and I'm certainly not a craftsman! I'm a guy with an unsettled imagination, a bunch of tools, and just enough ability to be dangerous . . . .

One last request: please don't say 'I can get a (insert product) for less than that at Home Depot or IKEA!'

This website isn't where you shop for mass-produced big box store items. This is where you come if you're looking for truly unique, one of a kind items. Pieces that make a statement, or at the very least things you haven't seen before. No one is going to walk into your home and say 'Oh I saw those at Costco and I almost bought one!'
